Once the loose material is removed, repair any defects on the surface and achieve a smooth finish by rubbing it down. Next, wash and clean all surfaces, including walls, ceilings, window frames, and joinery, with diluted ACS Mould Wash Concentrate.
If necessary, clean badly affected areas a second time. Allow the surfaces to dry thoroughly.
To ensure optimum effectiveness and coverage, follow these steps when applying ACS Anti Mould Paint Emulsion:
Stir Thoroughly Before Use: Properly mix the paint emulsion before application.
Brush Or Roller Application: Apply two coats of ACS Anti Mould Paint using a brush or roller. Allow sufficient drying time between coats. It is essential to apply two coats to achieve full protection against mould and bacteria.
Cleaning: Clean the equipment with clean tap water before the paint dries.
Drying Time: The paint emulsion will be touch dry in approximately 1 hour. However, the re-coating time will vary from 2-4 hours depending on the conditions.
N.b: Make sure not to cover ACS Anti Mould Paint with any other paint or wallpaper. If you plan to use unfinished, textured wallpaper (blown vinyl, woodchip), or a similar type, it should be hung after the ACS Mould Wash Concentrate has completely dried. Coat the wallpaper with ACS Anti Mould Paint following the same instructions as above.
