Sovereign Low Modulus Silicone is a Professional Grade, Low Odour, Low Modulus Neutral Curing Silicone Sealant which has excellent resistance to both Weather and UV, making it ideal for use around windows and doors.

Sovereign Low Modulus Silicone is particularly suited to applications around uPVC Window & Door Frames, it can also be used to form a waterproof joint between concrete, brick, steel, lead, GRP, enamel, glazed ceramics, painted wood, polycarbonate and some metals.

Supplied in 310ml Cartridges, available in White colour only.

Sovereign Low Modulus Silicone Sealant

Sovereign Low Modulus Silicone is a low modulus neutral curing silicone that will provide a watertight flexible seal on many common building substrates.

Sovereign Low Modulus Silicone conforms to BS 5889. (Part A) ISO 11600 G-25 LM, DIN 18545 E.

Sovereign Low Modulus Silicone will cure rapidly to give a long lasting silicone rubber seal around doors and windows, glass butt joints, perimeter pointing, sealing around uPVC, cap beading, sealing cladding panels, sealing around worktops.

As this product is neutral curing, it is also suitable for use on aluminium, zinc, lead and polycarbonate.

Surface Preparation:

Surfaces should be clean, dry, free of dust and grease.

Porous surfaces in water loaded applications should be primed with Soudal Primer 150. No primer needed for non-porous substrates.

There is no adhesion on PE, PP, PTFE (Teflon®) and bituminous substrates. We recommend a preliminary compatibility test.

Application Method:

  • Application Method: With a Caulking Gun.

  • Cleaning: Clean with a Surface Cleaner immediately after use.

  • Finishing: Spray with a soapy solution then use Soudaglatt Smoothing Tool to finish.

  • Repair: With the same material

Coverage:

Coverage of any sealant product varies depending on Joint Width and Joint Depth.

Please refer to our Guide on How To Measure The Number of Tubes Required For the Job.

Joint Dimensions:

  • Minimum Width for Joints: 5 mm

  • Maximum Width for Joints: 30 mm

  • Minimum Depth for Joints: 5 mm

  • Recommendation Sealing Jobs: Joint Width = 2 x Joint Depth.

Remarks:

  • Do not use on natural stones like marble, granite etc... as it may cause staining.

  • Do not use on concrete, lead, copper, galvanised steel, PE, PP, PTFE. PC, PMMA, neoprene, bituminous or waxy surfaces.

  • Not recommended for use in areas of high humidity, such as kitchens and bathrooms.

  • Do not use in aquaria or in contact with double glazing seals.

  • Do not use in applications where continuous water immersion is possible.
